The two stared at each other for a moment. The winged man seemed surprised, for whatever reason, and as Kaminari looked deeper into his eyes, he registered in the back of his mind the embers that seemed to spark in his irises. The beauty of them rendered the siren speechless.
After a few seconds, he spoke. “Can I… have your eyes?”
The other man blinked. “What?”
“Your eyes. You know, the things in your face.”
or, kaminari has an obsession with shiny things. and it just so happens kirishima is the newest object of his affections.

His mind seemed to shift from one topic to another with ease. First it was about his homework, then the weird look Stan gave him during class that afternoon. It didn't take long for his least favorite subject to emerge into his thoughts, and Kyle didn't bother to resist letting out a scoff as he popped into his mind.
Craig Tucker. His ex-boyfriend, and by far the most infuriating man he'd ever met.

Summary
Kyle was just so damn endearing, it was hard to keep his emotions suppressed around him. Especially when he did something as adorable as just simply interlocking their fingers and pulling him closer to tuck their hands into his pocket. It was such a new sensation, being so infatuated with another man, but in a weird way he liked it. He liked being able to just feel for a person, to enjoy their company and even their kisses freely without any labels or complications. He'd always strived for routine all his life, but Kyle had changed that for him. He'd enabled him to take risks, to just allow himself a moment to breathe rather than constricting himself to a rigid schedule. He was a breath of fresh air into his life that Craig didn't know he needed.

Kyle had always known he was never fit to be king.
"Kyle," Stan said, a bit croaky, "I'd do anything to keep you safe. Even run away with you. I'm loyal to you first, and the kingdom second. No matter what happens, who you become, whoever you make your enemy, I will always fight for you, by your side. I will be who you need me to be no matter the circumstance. I don't know what we're going to do, honestly. But as long as we have each other, I think we could achieve it."
They both locked eyes once again, and while Stan's tone was laden with exhaustion, the determined gleam in his gaze was more than enough cause for the back of Kyle's neck to flush. He always felt oddly scrutinized under Stan's gaze whenever they both made eye contact, but the sensation of being looked at with so much adoration and passion was so addicting, he could never bear to look away.

“What a fucking asshole!” Kyle seethes as he watches Craig load the ladder back onto his truck once the hailstorm comes to an end. Craig walks halfway back up the driveway, lifts his hat, and runs a hand through his dark hair. He stares at the front door for a few seconds, completely oblivious to Kyle’s burning glare, before heaving a sigh and returning back to his truck. Stan joins Kyle at the window just as he pulls away from the curb.
“Was that the insurance guy?” Stan asks through a yawn.
“Yeah, and he doesn’t know shit!”
