    "This is Colorado," Jisung said. "There's gotta be wolf packs running around the woods. I'm pretty sure I've heard them at night."

    "There's no wolves in Yellow Wood," Hyunjin quickly stated, his voice clipped and irritated.

    Felix turned to give him a look that Jisung couldn't understand before turning back around. "What Hyunjin means is there hasn't been a wolf sighted in Yellow Wood in many, many years," he explained. "Word is they moved onto bigger forests further into the state after the area grew scarce for game a long time ago."

    Jisung blinked. "But your mascot is the timber wolf," he pointed out.

    "I know," Felix said with a small chuckle. "Pretty ironic, right?"

    Although it wasn't that funny, Jisung found himself forcing out a short laugh. It sounded strained to his own ears, but Felix and Hyunjin didn't seem to notice. "Yeah, I guess."
