EXCERPT:
She breathed in. She breathed out.
She turned her gaze at Sam and Bucky.
“Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes – My name is Riley. I’m from your future. Your current future. And I’m here to make sure you stop it from ever happening,” announced the girl, “And I know this is weird. But your lives are weird – I know that. And I have a note to prove it to you. Why I’m here. What y’all need to do. Just – sh – oot. Shoot. Shoot, I need to get it from my – ”
Riley searched her pockets to pull out the pulp of what used to be a note. She panicked, patting the note down as best as she could with a rag.
She knew where the dishrags were.
“I swear it’s a note from you,” said Riley as she inspected what was left of the note, “It – it says Dani on it. Because Dani was supposed to come. But, um… well, I came. So, here.”
She walked over to Sam and extended the note to him.

In which there"s only one bed in the hotel room after a particularly long mission.
EXCERPT:
It was a slow start at first.
Sam feeling as if he woke from some of the best sleep in his life. He felt wrapped in a wonderful weight; not quite on top of Sam, but mostly on top of him. Sam shifted more under that, taking more weight on. He felt the tangle; a delicious intertwining of strong legs and arms on him, the hair on the legs moving against his own in a strange sort of satisfying way. The more Sam moved, the more he felt the limbs wrapping around him, keeping Sam close, and Sam couldn’t help but relax into that, not wanting to escape the unwieldy limbs. Sam turned his face closer to the head he could feel above on his shoulder, felt the fantastic scratch of stubble across his face, through his well-trimmed beard as he rubbed his face on the other, loving the feeling. Felt long hair draping on his face a bit and not seeming to care about it in the slightest.
And in that movement, that adjustment of position, Sam felt his hardness move on another, heard a soft, deep moan from above him.
Sam woke up with a jolt.
Sam was under a pile of Bucky and he was trying not to freak out about that.Series

Bucky lets out another deranged noise. "Fuck Thor"s hammer," he says, and Sam feels like lava inside, ready to erupt.

The feared Winter Soldier is suddenly disarmed before Sam, no scowl, no walls, just open and quiet. And Sam doesn"t often get the opportunity to be as vulnerable and as honest as his heart demands, but this time he lays it bare.
"So come back here and do some more of that, huh?"
Bucky still hesitates, his fingers whirring a comforting white noise into the silence between them.
"Or are you chicken shit?"
