Summary
A dance performance was different from acting with the ‘theatre dorks’. At least, Gina thought so. Whilst acting meant being in a role, dance was a bit more personal. Sure, everyone has their dream roles, or wanted to play the lead… but in dance you show yourself from a different side. You don’t hide behind a character per say (though those that did hip hop at the studio played tough on stage, but were actually some of the biggest sweethearts around), you always pour something of yourself into it. More so than you do in acting. Not many people knew that.
