If you asked Peter, he would tell you that the actual night that changed everything was the night he bit Stiles’ best friend. The night he broke out of his craze just long enough to feel his mate nearby, just long enough to feel himself become alive again, just long enough to watch it all be ripped away in the form of a retreating Sheriff's car. His need to fix things, all the things he'd messed up, was too heavy. He would do anything if it meant he could fix it all.
In the end he would feel that warmth again. With Peter by his side and a budding something between Derek and himself, maybe the Hales, alive and well, could help fix him too. -

A tale of change, love and understanding, growing both together and on their own, the Pack pulls together to become a Pack strong enough to put the former Hale Pack to shame. Learning about many family secrets, mostly Hale and Gajos', they handle it together as a Pack, depending on each other like a true Pack. Though it isn't long until different legends and prophecies come to light, ones that Stiles has been hiding from the Pack, not ready to face what they mean for the Pack.
This started out as a simple Derek finds out about his son with Kate and instead became an actual monster of a fic, there is a lot of world building and just unapologetic Pack shenanigans.
