“You.”, she breathes. “I see you.” Hoping he understands her without her having to spell it out. That she sees more than just his pain, struggles, Spite or his position in the Crows, that she sees the breathtakingly soft heart under all of it and that she wants to know this heart.

Summary
Lucanis wants to turn Rook Mercar into Rook Dellamorte, and has no idea where to start. Then she goes and gets herself into danger, causing a train of events that force his hand. A lot of hurt, a lot of comfort, and a lot of dumb decisions on both sides.
A continuation of the series of Lucanis fics I've been working on, but once again you don't need to have read the other two to understand what's going on in this one, there's just minor references.
