“Of course. You all—” Namjoon’s voice catches. He doesn’t admit to them that they’re the first people he’s spoken to in nearly a decade. He doesn’t tell them that their mingled scents remind him of his home that’s been long lost in a forest a lifetime away. The best thing about that room was Kim Namjoon, who sat there on the couch with white earphones and a red mp3 player in his lap. The best thing about that room was the loud, deafening bells that rang in Jungkook's head as soon as his eyes landed on Kim Namjoon.

It's a shame, really, that Namjoon doesn't hear the bells for him.
