Summary
Tommy finally headed back over to his own side of the court, jogging backwards as he waved goodbye to Jee—show off.
"He nice," Jee announced, and Buck couldn’t help but agree.
"Yeah, Jee, he’s very nice."
And his opinion was totally not biased by the fact that Tommy had stripped off his cut-off hoodie as he went, revealing muscles that flexed enticingly as he threw it at his friend’s face.

Summary
Buck felt numb as he listened to the words coming out of Tommy’s mouth. It was like he was paralyzed by the icy tendrils of shock that were flooding his veins. Tommy was breaking up with him. Buck had poured out his entire heart and laid their future out in front of him, and Tommy was walking away from it. He realized in the split second that Tommy reached for the door that he had a couple of choices here. He could stay frozen in place and watch Tommy go. Or he could stand the fuck up and stop the love of his life from walking out that door.
No one had ever accused him of letting things go easily.
“Tommy, wait!”

Summary
When Nick wakes up, he already feels as though something is wrong.
The air in his room is chilly, and he keeps himself planted underneath the blankets.
Then, his stomach kicks him and he feels his heart push into his throat. That same, nagging feeling of wrong is back, thicker than before. Almost afraid to, Nick pokes his head out of the blanket slowly, peering at the end of his bed.
