Summary
Oikawa Tooru is not a jealous person. Sure, he’s competitive, and he would watch both of his rivals’ matches just to see someone lose. And yeah, okay, maybe he’d much rather bang his head on a wall than acknowledge his rivals’ existence.
But when he sees Ushijima Wakatoshi with Sakusa Kiyoomi during the prefecture high schools’ graduation party, something ugly stirs within him.
Ushijima is talking to Sakusa, his usually stoic face transformed by a genuine smile. It’s a sight Oikawa has never seen before, and it feels like a punch to the gut. Ushijima’s eyes light up as he listens to Sakusa, his laughter ringing out, warm and unguarded.
Oikawa’s stomach churns violently. He barely has time to turn before he vomits—right on one of the Miya twins. Maybe both of them.
“Oi!” Atsumu yells, jumping back in disgust. “What the hell, Oikawa?!”
His brother Osamu looks equally horrified, a mix of shock on his face “Ya gotta be shittin’ me!”
