Freshly engaged, Kuroo and Kenma decide to take a road trip across America to celebrate for themselves before life gets hectic.
In the airport in California, Kenma swears he sees himself. He's weirded out but brushes it off as nothing, maybe some jet-lag or exhaustion. Except, it keeps happening almost everywhere they go and he seems to be the only one who sees whatever this is.
Not wanting to cut their trip short he tries to keep it to himself, until his double just won't leave. But Kuroo does what he had originally done, and brushes it off as being tired. Kenma just wants to go home, but there's some feeling in the pit of his stomach that he'll never see Tokyo again.
