Summary
“You’ve lost weight,” are the first words Reo says to him, a whole year since Seishiro has breathed the same air as him.
“That’s not very nice.” Seishiro’s mouth is on auto-pilot, brain still processing the sight of Reo right in front of him.
There’s Mikage Reo, synonymous with all that’s good in this world, at least to Seishiro. He looks different; his hair is longer and he’s much warier.
(He looks exactly how Seishiro remembers him.)
Or: Somehow, Seishiro gets Hanahaki, a year since he’s seen the only boy he’s ever loved. He handles it extremely well, which is to say, not at all.

Summary
And now, even if for a short time, Reo was back in Japan. After not hearing anything for years, in true Reo fashion, he materialized. Only this time, it was in the form of thick stationery folded neatly in a crisp envelope rather than the embodiment of an angel in a high school stairwell.
Nobody puts on a party like a Mikage, much to Nagi's dismay. Four years after the end of Blue Lock, Reo and Nagi have drifted apart for reasons unknown to him. Determined to pick up the pieces, Nagi attends the annual Mikage Halloween party with the intent to salvage what's left of their relationship, and hopefully nurture something stronger in its place.

A lie, he’s loved Nagi since high school, how was he supposed to forget?
Shidou smirked at him, trying to give back whatever easiness Reo previously felt. “I don’t care if you wanna get back together or rub it in his face, but you gotta use the oldest trick in the book Reo, make him jealous”
Or: Reo is filled with resentment towards Nagi, his non-official ex, who on the other hand seems to be dealing perfectly fine with their separation. What better way to make him realize he's not over him than making him jealous?
