Summary
REN MEET HEEL is a badly written anime’s attempt at greek tragedy, with elements blatantly ripped off from Star Wars, bad characterisation, pointless subplots with too many filler episodes and a higher ratio of antis to fans.
This year’s worst anime, hated by many, it’s incomparably bad.
But, and Jonghyun will admit this freely whenever asked, there’s one thing that makes watching the show worth it: the protagonist.

“Ha!” The boy’s friend crows. “Get it, Hyunjin!” He now has a name. A pretty name for a pretty boy, Changbin thinks idly.
Hyunjin flushes, but grins awkwardly in Changbin’s direction. He clambers up, stumbling a little bit on his friends leg as he walks over to where Changbin sits on the couch. He crouches in front of Changbin. “Hi.” He says.
“Hey.” Changbin’s brain short circuits when the boy laughs.
“I’m going to kiss you now.”
Dumbly, Changbin nods. “Okay.”

This is the norm for a highschool student’s life: Classes are a drag. People are coming and going at a fast pace all the time. The tides of life are changing and shifting as one grows older - and rather debatably wiser. There are few things in Kim Seungmin’s life that remain solid and unchanging.
These are the unchanging facts: Hyunjin is popular. Hyunjin is beautiful. Hyunjin is loved by everyone, and for good reason.
These are also the unchanging facts: Seungmin is popular, but only by association. Seungmin is cute, but no one notices it because he’s always with Hyunjin. Seungmin is in the top 3 of his class, academically, at any given time.

Summary
Since Mark’s grandmother passed away, the shop has become more popular for its eccentric staff, as opposed to anything like location or wares.
Comprised of a witch, a human, a phoenix/ghost duo, a kitsune, a water spirit and a mer, their business is kind of all over the place. With the variety in staff comes a variety of patrons, which is how Mark meets some extremely odd people.

When the firefighter walks into Eddie's coffeeshop, Eddie immediately knows two things about him: he's not human, and he's the love of Eddie's life.
Oh, he knows a bunch of other things too, obviously. He's about thirty, a few months younger than Eddie himself. He has a scar on his throat, like he got stabbed there, and one of his legs has some metal rods in it that must have come from a bad injury. The guy doesn't know he's not human, which is a tricky thing to figure out, but Eddie's almost positive. Most of the non-humans he knows have always known they aren't people, but there are exceptions, and they tend to carry themselves differently. Ana before her first full moon as a werewolf had a very different vibe from Ana after.
The firefighter moves like he knows he doesn't belong, but not like he knows why. Like he's afraid of taking up space, afraid of being noticed.
As if Eddie is even capable of not noticing him.

Eddie’s life had gone to shit in roughly every possible way.
He felt about two seconds away from breaking every hour of every day, like someone had stepped up in front of him, shoved him down, smashed the life he’d been working on, and left him to rebuild from the ground up.
And so, really, the last thing he needed when he got home at the end of a long shift was to find a massive, weird-ass dog curled up on his front porch. And yet, there it was.

Summary
Eddie thinks, as he munches on a fry, that he’s angry. He’s angry that Buck was ever wronged, that Buck even felt he had to give him that look. He’s angry that he can’t just fix it, that he’s not good at fixing things but he’s really good at messing things up. He’s angry because he’s afraid of failing when Buck needs him.
He’s angry at Buck because he’s not here, and he’s angry because it’s easier than grief, because Eddie thinks this might be a type of grief. Because he misses Buck when he’s right there, because Eddie thinks this might be another thing like all the other things he needs to deal with, the things he pushes down so deep because just letting them sit around is enough to hurt.
