TLDR: this is an attempt at writing from the POV of an alien hive mind that communicates using telepathy, that would find different things interesting than we would, and would describe them differently. I'm playing with the idea of "personhood" as understood by another species.

Summary
This is really more of a collection than a series: a mix of mangaverse, 1998-animeverse, and fusion stories in roughly chronological order. They feature Vash and Knives as children; their caregiver, Rem; and sometimes (spoiler alert) another Plant child. Most of the stories occur before the Fall. Expect flangst (a mix of fluff and angst).
Eventually, everything I've written about my second favorite subject -- baby!Plants -- will be collected here, for ease of finding.

Beautiful AU. 💖Hopeful and realistic at the same time and Tesla's psychology as the First and the way she still ends up the center of her brothers' lives but brings them together instead of tearing them apart is :chef's kiss: I also liked how the plant serum and Chapel and Earth and Chronica and Gunsmoke itself were recast.

The melody died a sudden, painful, mangled death as Knives froze.
He turned around.
“Honk”, honked a goose, in the middle of his chamber. Inexplicably alive and real, on a planet barren of all life except for Worms, thomas, Plants, and the last dregs of humanity.
The goose seemed to be judging him, on a spiritual level.
Knives blinked.
The goose was still there.

Summary
Frank x Vash rare!pair series. This is soft bambi!boys mode, intimacy!porn with some serious issues like chronic illness (in a way), struggling with alcoholism and the aftermath of trauma and loss. But most of the time they're just soft.
Vash is on the aro-spectrum here, but I'm aware that he often appears to be ace, too. There is a lot to figure out for him yet, and its of course open to interpetation. In this series Vash wouldn't identify as ace, though.
