Summary
After what happened with his omega pup, Orianna, Corin Reveck is determined to ensure the child who wormed his way into his hardened heart is protected. When he no longer can teach him anything new, Corin falsifies documents to make Viktor a child of Piltover rather than the undercity. He makes Heimerdinger swear to look after Viktor as his own. He makes Viktor promise not to leave the Academy grounds unaccompanied. Three years later, Singed regrets his decision to send his adopted son to the Academy when he is revealed to be a rare male Omega. But, with the undercity is chaos, it is not safe to bring his Pup home.
Heimerdinger keeps his promise and takes the Omega into his quarters to ensure minimal contact and his safety. Yet, a Beta named Jayce Talis is not easily persuaded. He never imagined the two would merge science and magic to create the most well-known technology in the city.
Mel Medarda imagines the rumors to be false. A rare male Omega would never have slipped past her mother, who strives to collect them all for herself since Mel's Beta father passed. So, Mel focuses on wooing the face of Hextech. Imagine Mel's surprise when she discovers Viktor Reveck. She is now determined to have them both.

Summary
If Viktor knows one thing for sure, it is that Jayce Talis is about as close to a sworn mortal enemy as he will find pursuing a Master’s in Engineering. The man in question has not actually done anything wrong, at least not on a personal level, but he is good-looking, intelligent, funny and in Viktor’s humble opinion an egotistical golden boy that could do with being taken down a peg or two. And if that sounds a tad resentful, so be it.
Viktor hates Pilties, Jayce loves Viktor. They have to do a project together. That's the fic.

“The waiting room is always so damn stuffy, isn’t it?” Jayce tugs at the collar of his shirt.
The man laughs, “it’s freaking cold, though.” To make a point, he shivers slightly. Considering how slim he is, Jayce thinks, it’s not a surprise.
“Really??” Jayce laughs, “I guess I’m too hot.”
The man gives Jayce a once-over. The edge of his mouth slightly curves with the hint of a smile.
When Jayce Talis finally lands the role of a scientist in an upcoming series, he couldn't have known how the role would catapult him into stardom and, more importantly, introduce him to the man that would change the course of his life forever: Viktor.

When Heimerdinger asked the class a question, Jayce's hand was the first to shoot in the air. To his embarrassment, he then proceeded to get the answer wrong.
He thought that would be the worst experience of the day that had only just started. But that was when the new guy opened his mouth and corrected him.
"That's right, Viktor," Heimerdinger replied, sounding pleased.
And so their rivalry was born.
