Summary
The word looks like it hits Hawks like a slap to the face, like when someone hits you out of nowhere. Pure shock and disbelief painted across it, it honestly would have been funny in different circumstances. The word took Hawks out of his daze of teasing Dabi, which Dabi had hoped would have pushed Hawks to actually start railing him. However, it caused the exact opposite of the intended effect that Dabi had wanted, making Hawks stop and pull back.
