“What did you think? Was I good?” Chris asks.
“You were amazing!” Ginny responds with enthusiasm, reciprocating the gesture and placing a hand on Chris’ shoulder in return.
“Thank you, Gin!” She grins brightly, removing her grip from both of their shoulders, turning her attention to the man from earlier. “Oh, so rude of me to not introduce you guys. Ginny, Knox, this is Charlie Dalton. Charlie Dalton, Ginny and Knox.”
The man’s face, Charlie, suddenly drops, snapping his neck up to face Knox. “Knox Overstreet.” He says flatly, almost in amazement, or perhaps disbelief. “Long time no see, Knoxie.”
Knox’s face flushes, and he prays he could blame the sudden redness on the cold. “Hey, Charlie.”

The Paris Squad, especially Darcy and Tara, were so proud of Elle. They even threw a humongous celebration at Charlie’s house (and virtually got in a plethora of trouble). Nick had brought Nellie and Sahar brought her excellent baking skills. The night was impeccable and all about Elle.
Tao had stood inelegantly to the side all night.
