Reid flinches at the name, and shakes his head. “Not anymore.”
The silence returns, and Caffrey and Reid stared at each other intently. It’s as if they are the only people in the room, they completely ignore the existence of Burke and Morgan.
Reid is holding his cane in front of himself with white knuckles, as if to defend himself, and Caffrey is holding the coffee mugs so tightly that Morgan is concerned they will shatter.
