He wasn't the one who'd been dosed with a wife-plot potion designed to lower inhibitions while also compelling the truth! If anyone here should be embarrassed, it was Shen Qingqiu!
He didn't feel embarrassed, though. That was probably due to the potion, now that he thought about it.

That made them shut quite fast... for exactly ten seconds.
“But still,” Naruto murmured something under his breath, far too low for anyone to hear.
Kakashi took a deep breath, asking the gods for patience.
“What was that?”
“Nothing.”
“Share with the class, Naruto.”
“I said I was going to talk with the sand weirdo tomorrow.” Naruto finally sniffed, pouting as he slurped his ramen’s broth with loud satisfaction.
Kakashi took another long, deep breath, asking for even more patience as Sakura beside him started another rant about how that wasn't a good idea.
Or: Naruto just wants to befriend Gaara, why was everyone acting as if he was about to die?

You know, Obito thinks it's really nice to finally have a brand new Uchiha. And it is nice to have his niece having a little lunch with him like this. A harmless meeting for an unhealthy lunch without ulterior motives, albeit one that Sakura would not approve of. Still, hanging out with someone who's barely eight, Obito had expected questions more along the line of can you help me with my homework or are there really rabbits on the moon.
Turns out Obito may have forgotten how children work, if he had any idea in the first place—the only time he's ever held a baby is when he was trying to kill it, give him a break. Goddamn kids and their lack of personal boundaries.
