Summary
“I’m the King’s Advisor, and you're not King." Sakusa is back to that bored, monotone tone of his that just makes Atsumu huff, his skin itching for more banter from the other alpha.
“Yet.” Atsumu is quick to add, mouth downturned for the lack of fire in Sakusa’s voice. “I’m not King, yet.”
Atsumu smirks and bends over the desk then, sliding the letter that the other alpha is writing to the side in the process. Sakusa barely manages to lift the pen off the paper, narrowingly avoiding an ugly smudge of ink on his manuscript.
“I’ll be King one day.” Sakusa’s eyes narrow as he watches Atsumu lean closer; his nose twitching as he inhales Atsumu’s citrusy scent. “Didn’t ya know, Omi-kun? And then ya'll be my advisor.”
Or: the one where Alpha!Prince Miya Atsumu thirsts over his father's most trusted advisor, Alpha!Sakusa Kiyoomi...and then feelings get involved.

“Then you wouldn’t mind,” Atsumu said, his voice a soft rasp, “if I held yer hand, right?”
Kiyoomi stared at Atsumu wide-eyed and open-mouthed. When Kiyoomi’s objection never came, Atsumu tentatively pressed his fingertips into the soft skin of Kiyoomi’s palm.
Kiyoomi’s hand trembled, but he did not pull away. Atsumu slowly threaded their fingers together until their hands were entirely intertwined, flush and warm. Atsumu’s eyes drifted to their joined hands and then back to Kiyoomi’s face. His eyes did not glimmer with mischief. They burned.
After watching his parents’ and siblings’ marriages all end in divorce, Kiyoomi is convinced any relationship of his is doomed to fail. All his life he’s successfully resisted the urge to act on his feelings, and he plans to keep it that way.
Until Atsumu holds his hand on a whim, and everything falls apart.

Summary
“This isn’t your apartment, Miya,” he bites out, trying his level best not to stare down the very unbuttoned collar of Atsumu’s shirt, where a long-fingered hand snakes its way across the jut of his collarbone. Atsumu giggles— actually has the nerve to laugh, as if having a half-clothed rut with a stranger against Kiyoomi’s front door is par for the course.
Given the number of times it’s happened in the three years since they became neighbors, Kiyoomi thinks, it might actually be. What a miserable existence.
Fed up with Atsumu's endless rotation of one-night stands, Kiyoomi offers himself up instead. This, as most would assume, is regarded by all parties as a terrible fucking idea.
