Youngjae awoke with sweat drippling down his forhead as he looked around in panic, realizing that it was just another nightmare. He stared wide eyed at the white ceiling above him as he waited for his beating heart to calm down. It must've been still night time as only the little lamp on the front desk outside the isolation room was on, illuminating the small room in a warm orange glow.
He let's out a breathy sob as he wishes dearly that all of this would be just that, a nightmare. Not his reality.

Summary
In his dreams, Hongjoong crawls into his bed at night, lays his head on Seonghwa’s chest and when Seonghwa in turn places his hands on his back, he can feel the tension leave his muscles. In his dreams, they share lazy kisses, quick pecks, and wet ones, ones that are coated in soy sauce and chili oil from leftover ramen. In his dreams, Seonghwa is loved by Hongjoong, which is why he now more often than not, chooses to sleep in.
Outside of his dreams however Hongjoong does not love Seonghwa the way Seonghwa wishes he did, and it doesn’t feel okay, but it is. Seonghwa just has to get his heart and soul to the same finish line that his mind stopped at. Outside of his dreams the world is slightly more cold, and a lot less dreamy; still Seonghwa has to wake up sometime.

Yunho couldn’t help but sit up straight, his heart racing in his chest. “You are the one that kingdoms would rise and fall for. Men would eagerly go to war if it meant winning a moment with you.”
Seonghwa seemed fascinated by that statement. He sat up as well. “And you, Yunho?” he asked, leaning closer. He still sounded playful, but also probing. “Would you go to war for me?”
