Summary
Someone groans weakly. With tremendous effort, Wade lifts his arm, it feels like it weighs a thousand pounds, and tries to scrub at his face.
“Oh fuck no,” Wade says but—
Well Wade, this Wade, your humble narrator, does not say it with his mouth. But his voice says it, and it sounds weird, like he’s trying to make it deeper than it is.
Wade scrubs at his face, clearing dust from his eyelashes.
Yeah, okay. He doesn’t have those.
His hands touch his face. The most obvious bit is the beard, but it’s also the exact slope of the nose and the cut of the cheekbones and when he finally gets his eyes open, he looks at blue gloves.
“Oh fuck yes,” Wade says. With Logan’s mouth. The voice rumbles through his ribcage, higher pitched by a bit through Logan’s ears but he just knows it's deep and scratchy and so sexy.

“I’m good.”
For whatever reason, Wade apparently took that as an invitation to sit down next to him, and Logan growled, moving over so they weren’t touching. Wade shivered, scoffing at him, and kicking Logan’s foot.
“Clearly not, Peanut. You’ve smoked a week’s wage of cigs in three hours and I’m fairly certain you’re still not unfucked up from all that cheap-ass donkey piss you call whiskey.”
Logan was seconds, maybe milliseconds, from punching him in the fucking face–with claws–but he held back, knowing Wade only thrived on retaliation.
“What’s it matter to you?”
The words felt sour on his tongue and he practically spat them in Wade’s direction.
“Well,” Wade took a deep breath, “I’m probably the reason–scratch that–I’m definitely the reason you’re clearly not good.”
(wade takes a mid love-confession job, logan drinks about it. cue angst. subsequently, boyfriendship.)

“What, in the fuck, are you doing, Peanut?”
Logan–who looked so fucking good when he bent over in those gray sweatpants, goddamnit–loaded a stack of boxes into the bag, “I’m doing what you asked.”
Wade ran his gloved hands over his face, unable to process the fucking reality of Logan–the whole ass Wolverine who loved to fuck shit up on his own timetable–following instructions.
“Correction: why the fuck, are you doing that?”
“Because you told me to.”
Logan finished clearing the trash and headed toward the closet, pulling out the shitty 90’s vacuum Al kept on hand.
“I tell you to do things all the time, and usually you don’t do them. In fact, you never do them; you make it an explicit point to avoid my every request. Except today apparently. Did I win the fucking log-ottery?”
(Wade finds out Logan likes to be ordered around sometimes. Naturally, this leads to Logan getting fucked into a window.)
