“An underground fighting business.”
Silco’s lithe fingers were tapping coolly on the mahogany desk. He sat cross-legged, leaned back in his equally mahogany and leather-furnished chair, ever the flawless picture of a ruthless, unfazed kingpin.
“You want me to forego my near-decade of building up my Shimmer franchise, my planning for its distribution and my hard-won subjugation of the chembarons.” The tapping increased in frequency, a tap-tap, tap-tap that mirrored the firing of a rifle.
“In order to substitute it for an underground, no-rules-barred, fighting tournament franchise, no less.” His expression was somewhere between disbelieving and nonplussed.
He stared at you with this expression for a good few seconds. Any regular entrepreneur would’ve likely turned on their heels and fled out of the door at this point.
As his right hand, and therefore one of the very few who had zero fear of the Eye of Zaun, you stare him down right back.
“Exactly.”
(or, where Silco is met with a business proposition, and he comes to find that accepting was the best decision he'd ever made.)
