Summary
After a career-ending injury, Tommy Kinard, former LAFD firefighter with the 118, takes a job at 911 Dispatch. A few months into the job, he meets Evan "Buck" Buckley, who has taken his old spot. How will his relationship with Tommy affect Buck's growth and his relationships with the 118? Will Tommy fight to get back into firefighting or remain at Dispatch? Will their past traumas ruin what they have? This is an AU starting with episode 1.01, which explores how the lives of the 118 could have gone if instead of Abby Clark, dispatcher Tommy Kinard had taken that home invasion call.
