I don't even go here but I love this SO much!
I found it ages ago through the crack!van and then lost it, I am so happy to have found it again.
reading this always gives me the impression of a running river, where everyone is trying their best and doing what they can whilst being trapped in the roles they've been dealt. there is something calm and understated about the writing in this, that actions unfold almost like a play.
Rues pov feels both resigned and determined, too young to deal with the horrors she's dealing with, but far too used to it.
this story has stayed with me for so long and it's nice to see that this fic is still as good as I remembered<3 -
