"Because I know you won't ever come with me," Dazai apologized, or as close to it as possible. They said it so quietly like it was a secret or something treacherous to say. "Your place is in the mafia."
"And so is yours," Chuuya countered.
"No, Chuuya~" Dazai smiled. It was inhumane, with far too many teeth and anger to be anything but worthy of a demon prodigy. "The mafia is my prison. My hell."
Or
Dazai is planning to leave the mafia and visits Chuuya, not knowing what to expect. Chuuya doesn't know what to do.

Summary
Dazai has been to many funerals. Most of them felt like a mercy, a reason to be away from sharp claws and cruel words, boring and repetitive. But this? This funeral was too soon- far too soon. It ripped his heart out of his chest, leaving an even bigger gaping hole than ever before.
Even now, the tears never stopped flowing. sure there were no longer dried tear tracks, but the gaping hole continued to grow in their chest.
How many funerals does Dazai need to attend before its finally his turn? How many until its finally time and he has been punished enough?

Celebrate me!" Dazai shouted in Chuuyas ear, "today is my birthday!"
"Shut up!" Chuuya yelled back, covering his ears with a pillow, "It's three in the fucking morning!"
Silence followed for a few moments, Chuuyas mind finally catching up and hearing what Dazai said. Then, he looked up at Dazais face. It was obvious that they were expecting a reaction, which they were, of course, going to get:
"WAIT- ITS YOUR BIRTHDAY?!"

"You, obviously. You wouldn't be reacting this way if you didn't care," Dazai replied, separating the hair into three sections and starting to braid the hair.
"Well- yes, I care, okay!?" Chuuya confessed, "I care because people keep putting their noses in our business and decide that they can judge us! Don't you care?"
