Summary
“Ronan,” Adam said slowly, the vowels stretched out like honey, his lips tilting into a barely-there smile. “It’s nice to officially meet you,” he said. Gansey hummed in delight but Ronan caught the double meaning, caught the nice to actually get your name after fucking you and then sucking your dick a few weeks ago.
“Sorry about him, he just woke up. Ronan is miserable in the mornings,” Noah said, rolling his eyes like this guy, and Adam laughed
“Is he now?” he said as Gansey went on a small but loving rant about how awful Ronan was in the morning, and suddenly Ronan couldn’t think about anything but waking up next to Adam with his fingers tracing circles on his ribs, his voice rumbling quietly under his ear, how he had thought I could get used to this.

Summary
They’d given Andrew the wrong key.
He slammed on the buzzer for the person in the apartment below his, again, and again, and again.
He was dead tired, and his stupid flip phone was just plain dead, so he couldn’t even call Roland to get his key fixed. Andrew pressed the buzzer again. He was standing in front of the shitty apartment building with everything he owned, and, although it wasn’t much, he really wasn’t in a forgiving enough mood to deal with someone who might try to take something.
Finally, a voice that sounded just barely awake came through the intercom.“Hello?”
“I’m moving into the apartment above you, but my key doesn’t work. Let me in,” Andrew said.
His neighbor paused for a moment, until, finally, he said,
“How do I know you’re not a dangerous criminal?”It was a joke, Andrew could tell by the challenge in his voice. He hated this place already.
“Dangerous? Yes. Criminal? Not unless you don’t let me in.”
“Yeah, yeah,” said the neighbor, audibly yawning. Andrew heard the door unlock and quickly gathered his things.

Summary
“Hello,” Adam said. He stood up and set the textbook down on the counter. “You new around here?”
His voice was warm and heavy like the humidity, and he spoke with an Appalachian twang that reminded Ronan almost painfully of home. He had freckles on his nose and cheeks, and underneath the thin fabric of his t-shirt he looked solid and strong. As Ronan stared, Adam’s mouth twisted into a sardonic smile, derisive and sharp, accented by gleaming white teeth and a glimmer of mirth in his eyes.
“You’re cute,” Adam said, disarmingly straightforward, and he leaned his elbow on the counter to stare back at Ronan.or: it's the 1970s. ronan needs a place to stay. adam's a grad student. they meet.

Summary
"“Another doctor, Dick?” Ronan jerked his head towards him.
“Yes, you’re in a hospital. Isn’t that strange?” Gansey sniped back. “Dr. Parrish, this is Ronan Lynch, the bane of my existence. Ronan, this is Dr. Parrish. You’ll be under his care while I’m in surgeries, he’ll have some other responsibilities, but he’s going to try and figure out what’s wrong with you.”
“Nothing’s wrong with me,” Ronan grumbled.
“Is that why you’re wearing that gown then?” Adam quipped."
Adam is a surgical intern at Cabeswater General Hospital, just trying to get enough sleep and maybe get some time in the OR. When Gansey suggests he should work on connecting with patients, he introduces him to firefighter, Ronan Lynch, and his feels his world start to shift, maybe just a little bit.
