Reader craves intimacy as much as she fears it. She spends most of her time hiding in her bedroom and avoiding the rest of the world, only interacting with people over the internet. When a man from her favourite forum, d/MorbidCuriosities, gains her trust, they 'joke' about forming a suicide pact. This doesn't go as planned.
(Or: Ren kidnaps a suicidal woman and refuses to let her kill herself. It's the peak of romance.)
