Summary
Penelope Featherington was all alone when civilisation crumbled. When a thick, cloying mist descended heavily over the city of London, hiding within it’s mysterious depths things that hunt, things that hunger.
Completely alone, unable to leave due to the threat of the fog, she finds herself deeply concerned and totally perplexed to hear the sudden sound of someone knocking on her front door. After all, who gets visitors at the end of the world?
Now, the only question she has left to ask herself is this, should she let them in?
i.e. The fic that was inspired by "The Mist" by Stephen King, about Colin and Penelope working together, fighting together, to find their way home across a dangerous, apocalyptic regency-era England whilst also trying to temper their ever growing attraction to one another.
