They likely don’t remember that he and Oikawa Tooru, #13 of the Men’s Argentina National Volleyball Team, played on the same team in high school. And even if they do, they certainly wouldn’t know that they were closer than just the ace and his setter.
If God truly loves him, his team will stay both ignorant and away from him.

Iwaizumi Hajime, the athletic trainer for the Japanese Men's National Volleyball Team, observes the #13 Argentinian setter from afar. He tells his team that he doesn't know Oikawa Tooru as well as he used to, and he tells himself that the concern he feels for his estranged best friend is just his mind playing cruel tricks.
Until Sakusa Kiyoomi, outside hitter for Team Japan, convinces him otherwise.

Draco shifts his head as he turns to look at Scorpius, his cheek touching the pillow. "Did you know that…" He pauses, his throat convulsing, and it sounds audible in the silence, besides Michael's steady, even breathing from the other bedroom.
Scorpius is staring back at him, in wait of something new to learn, a beautiful and intelligent child. He has Draco's mind. He has Draco's eyes and nose and mouth and hair. He is his. All his. All he has of Michael are his wild curls and the green of his eyes, and sometimes he looks into them and imagines that they aren't Michael's, but someone else's.
Draco leans his head closer, biting the quiver out of his lips before he breathes a laden and shuddering exhale, and he whispers, "You are my star in a big black sky."

Kuroo pulls him close, and whispers in his ears, “Do you want to go home?”
He feels Kenma’s hands around his neck. When his lips are brushing against the shell of his ears, Kuroo’s entire body shivers.
“Yes. I want—I mean, can we—?” He leans back, looking into Kuroo’s eyes. He can smell the alcohol on his breath, feel the air exiting his lips as he catches his breathing. He glances down at Kuroo’s lips and up again.
Kuroo’s breath catches. He’s not serious? Is he?
“I thought you hate love.” That’s all he can say as he stares at Kenma’s face, dotted with club lights as the music goes on and on around them.
“This isn’t love.” He says it like it’s obvious. “It’s sex.”
The air is knocked out of him, and Kuroo’s chest tightens. Right. Just sex. But if this is the only way he can have him, just once, it’d be okay? Right?
