“This is the week I’ll get over him, Ochako-chan,” Izuku returned the favor. Ochako’s attempts at talking were quickly cut off as Izuku continued to ramble, one of the many things he’s incredibly apologetic for. “We only have to spend one day together for Ashido-chan’s party, so this should be easy.”
Himiko rolled her eyes playfully as Ochako handed the phone to her. “Okay, and how are you going to do that—”
“Thank you Ochako-chan and Toga-san, I’ll call you later!”
Quickly, Ochako snatched the phone from Himiko. “Deku-kun? Izuku? Izuku!” She said, receiving no response whatsoever.

He swallows. “We—We can’t, Izuku.”
“What?”
Izuku surely thinks this is a joke. Katsuki packs his lunches for him, folds his laundry, kisses his forehead before they go to bed, Katsuki even allows Izuku to crawl into his bed when sleeping alone was too difficult some nights. There’s no way Katsuki doesn’t feel the same. This has to be a joke.
“We just—we can’t,” Katsuki rejects him, and Izuku swears that he can see his whole world melting away.
izuku wants to be with katsuki, but he can’t forgive himself.

Summary
It doesn’t take a smartass to know that Izuku and Katsuki are always touching. Not even Ochako or Shouto had come close to the amount of contact that Izuku and Katsuki had. Whether it was high fives, fist bumps, the brushing of their hands, their heads touching as both of them fall asleep on the train, Katsuki and Izuku are always connected somehow.
Which makes it so hard now, not being able to be in contact with Izuku until he gets back from his trip to the States, visiting All Might’s hero friend.
izuku leaves on a trip, and katsuki misses his touch.
