Summary
Anna path crosses with Ruby's unexpectedly. After getting saved by a fierce brunette, Anna is quick to develop feelings for her, not backing out, even when she realizes that Ruby is far from innocent. "He's a cat hybrid," Kinn says, unable to hide how underwhelmed he is. Considering the price Ban had mentioned, Kinn had hoped for a dog hybrid, at least. Someone who was less likely to be averse to working with others and who would probably make a good bodyguard with sufficient training.
Ban tries to reply but he's interrupted by a deep, menacing growl that crests into a full fledged roar before he can get a word in.
Kinn whistles.
"Alright, he's a big cat hybrid."

He won't. He doesn’t.Vegas’s lips twitch and he isn’t quite smiling, but there is a curve to his cheekbone that can’t be explained any other way. He offers the helmet to Porsche as if it is a trophy, as if Vegas won a victory here.

Vegas pulls back and nips at Pete’s bottom lip before bringing the cigarette to his lips once more. This time though, he inhales briefly before leaning forward and presses his lips against Pete’s, blowing the smoke directly into his mouth.
The noise Pete makes is embarrassing, the taste of nicotine filling his mouth alongside the hot wet slide of Vegas’s tongue against his. It’s not enough, he needs more. Vegas breaks off the kiss and instead presses his lips to Pete’s cheek, his chin, his jaw, his throat. He kisses like he smiles; sharp and insistent, teeth scraping at skin combined with the hot swipe of his tongue. Pete can’t get enough of it.
Is this what Vegas has been holding back from him? Is this what Vegas has been capable of this whole time?
“How much do you want this between your lips?” Vegas murmurs, saccharin and suggestive.
At this point, there is nothing Pete won’t do. “Enough.”
