    He’d thought that would have been the last he saw of her. Now imagine his surprise when she turned up again that next day, once again in the face of his rudeness. He remembered her ears drooping when he told her to get back to her box, and something strange happening in his chest, but before he could think on it she did something not many animals could.
    She surprised him. Impressed him, perhaps, though begrudgingly.

    ‘It’s called a hustle, sweetheart.’ She’d said smugly, holding up that god-forsaken carrot pen that would be his driving factor for the following two days. Or rather, should have been.
