Hannibal Lecter and Will Graham are in love with each other. Only Jack Crawford, an unfortunate cannibalistic tendency and a resilience to truth stand in the way.
Set halfway through S1. (Coquilles) Will is mildly attracted to Hannibal's accent and has been since the moment they met but doesn't know why. Hannibal is scandalised at the smell of Will's aftershave but obsessed with him anyway.
Basically the pair of them being cluelessly in love with each other and not figuring it out until approximately three years later but there's blood and angst involved because I love making my favourite characters suffer.
