Summary
Klavier is used to walking home alone. He's used to being alone, time and time again, until there's nothing left but the sadness he can no longer carry. He's not seventeen anymore—not useful or wanted or even pretty enough to be this much of a mess. He leaves the VIP section of LA's most exclusive club, fully expecting to fall asleep on his own and wake up with a hangover and a pile of regrets from the night before.
But then he falls over on the street, and finds himself approached by a stray cat, who might just lead him to the home he's never truly had.
