Summary
World-famous rockstar Ed Teach is pulled out of a near-death experience by a vision of someone saving him. Stede Bonnet has had dreams of saving someone from drowning for as long as he can remember. When the two of them are finally pushed into standing up for themselves and they don't get the reactions they'd expected, they meet each other as they're trying to run away from everything. They decide to pretend to be boyfriends as Ed agrees to teach Stede all about gay culture, Stede agrees to teach Ed how to be a good person, and together, they learn that there was never much to learn in the first place.
