They anticipated the cursed spirit to be a difficult fight. What they didn’t anticipate was the curse she would leave on Satoru at the end of the battle — a last-ditch Hail Mary attempt to leave her mark in this loveless world. Of course, her curse touched the one that was supposed to be untouchable. Of course.
Really, a fuck-or-die situation isn’t foreign to neither Satoru nor Suguru. They’ve heard about it in other reports where the sorcerer on site was left with the burning and agonizing need to either have intercourse, or experience an orgasm for the curse to be lifted.
The last thing Satoru anticipated was the… new equipment.
Or, Satoru and Suguru are met with a sexually suppressed curse and suffer the consequences. Although, "suffer" might not be the right word.

He watched Serizawa’s eyes follow the movement before glancing up at his face. They locked eyes.
“Impertinent,” Reigen muttered. Serizawa’s dark eyes were always so beautiful. If he kept looking at Reigen that way, he’d make him lose the plot. “You think you can look your betters in the eye?”

Being a shut-in for so many years meant that Serizawa missed out on a few "typical" experiences growing up. Reigen just wants to give his friend a helping hand. Which is how Reigen finds himself here: Sitting on his couch, next to Serizawa, his laptop open while Serizawa searches for porn.
