    The forth shinobi war was over, but there were no victors. None, expect for the sole man alive, Uzumaki Naruto.

    But he was never one to let his precious people down. He had promised them, each and every one of them, that their sacrifice would not be in vain. That he would put an end to Kaguya´s reign once and for all, no matter the cost.

    So if he has to abandon his life to travel to the past, a place unfamiliar to him, where only more death and problems await him, so be it. Because he is Naruto Uzumaki, and he will be damned if he doesn´t fix the things that went wrong.

    The only place for him to start is here, in the time where his ancestors lived. Even at the cost of his own happiness and sanity, he will put an end to the war and build a new found village from scratch.

    Summary

    Forced to abandon their friendship due to the endless war raging between Senju and Uchiha, Hashirama and Madara are now facing each other on the battlefield as leaders of their clans.

    In one reality Madara has to mourn his last remaining brother, before being ultimately defeated by the Senju leader and losing the trust of his people.

    In another one, the odds are even worse.

    However, when Madara faints on the battlefield, Hashirama finds himself unable to kill the man he once considered his best friend. With Madara on the verge of dying, Hashirama decides to take matters into his own hands. And maybe, a single change is enough to steer fate into a different direction.

    It really is hilarious that any pirate crew would use a submarine, rather than a ship. Who would want to go down, instead of having room to go up? Who would rather be below water, with nowhere to stretch one's wings, than be close to the skies?

    Law thinks about the twines of thorns on his back, the scaled feathers on Penguin's and Shachi's. None of them can even fly anyway, so fuck it.

    If they can't go up, they'll just go down instead.

    (Or: Law, the flightless pirate captain of a flightless pirate crew in a world where most everybody has wings, through the eyes of all those who matter.)
