Summary
It continues to baffle Lex how none of Clark's classmates have snatched him up yet for his scent alone, nevermind how gorgeous and sweet he is. The one time Lex asked him about that, Clark turned sheepish and mumbled something about how most alphas and betas his age weren't interested in an omega who was taller and stronger than them. Lex was stunned—he remembers thinking at the time, Are teenagers today fucking idiots?

Luthor looks between the two of them before his lovely Cupid's bow lips curl into an amused grin. "It's Lex," he says. "I'm guessing you don't remember, but we kind of dropped the formalities the day I ran you off a bridge."
"I—You did?"
"Yep," says Luthor—Lex, popping the 'p' like bubble gum. "And then you rescued me, gave me mouth-to-mouth, and the rest is history."
Clark's brain gets jammed on the 'mouth-to-mouth' part, and it takes him several seconds to hear Chloe mutter under her breath, "Oh my god, the heart really does remember."

"Here's what's going to happen," Lex announced as he stepped out of one of the Watchtower's boom tubes with Mercy in tow, both of them at a pace matching that of a tiger, stride for stride. Before Clark or any of the other Leaguers present could protest—and Bruce was going to be pissed once he heard about this—Lex bulldozed on, "I'm going to arrange to have authentic papers drawn up declaring Clark Kent..." he looked right at Clark as he hissed his name out, "...as Kon's father and primary guardian, in exchange for a roughly equal split in visitation rights, to be adjusted on an ad hoc basis. If you refuse, I'll order a paternity test, sue for custody, and I will win. The choice is yours."
There was no doubt in Clark's mind that he would.

Summary
Picks up at the end of Apokolips War.
Barry is gone. Staring down the barrel of a dawn they hoped wouldn't come, what's left of the league knows that life must go on. Everyone's running on the ghost of fumes, but John Constantine thinks they have a shot, albeit a tiny one. They might be stuck on a soon to be frozen planet with a chunk of its core missing, but Darkseid's gone, the living have rallied, and they even have the Trinity back in action. There's room for hope.
Or at least there would be if only Superman would stop carrying his dead clone kid around with him wherever he goes. Admittedly, that one's a bit of a confidence killer, Clarkie.
