Summary
Zach is a successful hotshot model in his prime. His PA, Chris, is rather awkward with thick rimmed glasses and grandpa sweaters who doesn't even exfoliate. Zach is trying to get a big modeling deal for his favorite line of clothing. It won't be his career maker (since it's already been made) but he really wants this job.
Imagine Zach's horror when the designer, Karl Urban, doesn't want him, but his frumpy PA. This is the last thing Chris, who is very shy, self-conscious and not confident in the least, wants so he resists. Karl won't take 'no' for an answer, and when his people are done with Chris, he's gorgeous. Zach, deciding to sabotage Chris' suddenly budding career, decides to become his PA. He doesn't plan on falling for Chris in the process and finding himself trying to keep the harsh industry from changing the sweet man.

Lan Wangji, tired of the distance created by his own hand, does not know if his husband will ever be happy in Cloud Recesses, if he will ever get to see that beautiful sunny smile directed at him ever again. He knows that the way his husband avoids him now, won't speak to him now, is his own fault. He knows he was too harsh, too cruel, at the beginning of their union to ever be the reason that Wei Ying smiles again.
He watches his husband smile wistfully at their youngest disciples from a distance, his uncle never letting him anywhere near them, and thinks if only Wei Ying had a child to dote on, to love, that he would be happier. Knowing he has lost his chance for that child to ever come from him, he turns to all of the children he has seen his husband give food to in the streets, all the children he has smiled at, been kind to, and played with until a disciple pulls him away, and thinks, perhaps, he knows how to make Wei Ying happy again.
AKA a historical romance fic which features the Lans being terrible, Lan Xichen focused on fixing that, Lan Wanji focused on simply fixing his relationship, and Wei Wuxian focused on being a surrogate parent to as many children as he can find (eventually).

Lan Wangji is an alpha, omega rights activist/lawyer who takes on pro bono cases of omegas trying to flee abusive bonds. Because the law doesn't recognize domestic abuse between bonded alphas and omegas and because the breaking of a bond is often quite difficult for the omega, divorce disputes like this are rarely won in court. They fall in love obviously.
