“Tough day?” the bartender asks as he pours a round of shots for a customer a few seats down from Colin. “You and your mates work at that law firm across the street, right? Welton?”
A conversation with the pretty bartender at his favorite establishment might just be enough to turn this hellish day around. “It’s better now,” Colin says, and takes a sip of his drink. “This is delicious, by the way.”
And if he notices the bartender’s smile gets a little bit wider as he turns away to make another drink, he doesn’t say a word.
