The answer is scramble the ships and try to keep the drama coming, the jokes funny, and the characters poignant. Come watch people torment themselves and their loved ones trying to live up to themselves and make bad life choices as they hammer out their convoluted kink and poly dynamics.
I've gone back and forth on whether this is M or E a couple of times. I'll just say there's a lot of fairly explicit kinky queer sex in this, but most of the kink is pretty sloppy, and most of the sex is about people getting their feelings hurt, so your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for.
