Stark Industries is doing fine, sure, Pepper is a wonderful CEO after all (he did handpick her for a reason). But the drama of the Avengers and Sokovia Accords is enough to send the billionaire spiraling on its own. As things come to head a new vigilante catches Tony’s eye and may answer the prayers Tony didn’t even know he had.

Summary
Despite Peter’s protests, Tony decides that Peter will be staying home from school on basis of the nasty cough Peter had developed. However, Tony isn’t used to caring for someone, especially when that someone is sick. Even if it’s just a small case of the flu, feelings come to light and Tony realizes that Peter means more to him than just some super kid.
Takes place in the slow months between chapter 9 and chapter 10 of The Storm Will Break. You don’t have to read the series to understand the story, but it will give added context.

Summary
Peter was orphaned at a young age, going into the foster system. At first it was alright, until his foster dad found out about his after school activities. With his new foster parent being none other than Tony Stark and his previous foster dad still trying to turn him into the next winter soldier, Peter is learning how to accept love back into his life as well as the horrors of trying to escape his past. Add that all up with school, media, and the general angst of youth, and you have yourself a series.
