Summary
When a multi-billionaire empire is at risk of changing his leader, it means that some run will take place. The Waystar Royco, this powerful media and entertainment company is owned by Logan Roy, who was stricken by a disease that destabilizes his position and also the fate of the company. Meanwhile, the Roy’s are a patriarchal family trying to figure out the new CEO between the childrens. Kendall, the close son, Siobhan, the only woman, and Roman, the youngest, are the main candidates for the position, according to them. Siobhan may seem the best option because she works with politician strategy and looks like the most stable person, but her father doubts her ability with a touch of misogyny. Roman is a weird man who is not the first option at all, however, he’s manipulated by Logan to think that he was in fact chosen for the function. Last but not least, Kendall's claim to succession is confronted by his conturbed relationship with his father. Kendall and Logan lives in a constant tug-of-war which the son is always accused of not being strong enough. All three of them are driven by their own ambitions and lust for power, but they also have several daddy issues to deal with.
