Summary
Magnolia is a bustling city, filled with cuisine, culture, and crime. While there are several groups, the two most notable are the Dragons and the Heartfilia Family.
The Dragons are a new gang on the up-and-up, gaining territory faster than anyone has ever seen. Their fights are quick and brutal, creating a harsh reputation for themselves throughout the city.
The Heartfilia Family, however, owns the city; generations of Heartfilias creating backalley deals to reap the rewards.
Everything changes though, when Jude Heartfilia is declared dead, leaving everyone wondering what will happen next. Will his daughter Lucy fill his shoes and continue his work? Or will the leader of the Dragons, Natsu, finally take back what is rightfully his?

Summary
Some god must have been feeling charitable today, because Laxus didn't say anything about the blush on Freed's cheeks, even when Evergreen pointed it out with a wry grin. Or, just maybe, Laxus was easily flustered too, but he was better at hiding it. Freed couldn't get the shy smile out of his mind, and he wondered if Laxus was thinking about their conversation earlier too.
Their eyes met as Bickslow argued about what classified a dish as a salad with an exasperated Evergreen, and Freed watched in shock as Laxus looked away, the tips of his ears pink.
Freed smiled to himself, his heart loud in his chest. Maybe lightning could be gentle too.
Or, Freed and Laxus's first real bonding experience, over shitty dads.
