Loris and Steb run into each other by chance after a shift. They head over to Loris' apartment and discuss Steb's recent tension at work. Normal coworker things ensue.

Vic watched her draw her tongue over one of her canine teeth before she spoke again. “You enjoy this, then.”

Before he could finish his sentence, Lae’zel had put her hand over his mouth, her fingers gripping the side of his jaw and her thumb at his cheekbone. “No. You enjoy the position you are in. Allowing me to take you, as I am. Am I mistaken?”
He took a deep breath in through his nose, feeling the way it shook on the way to his lungs. She was- She had stopped moving, her focus now entirely on him, intent like the predator she was.
She knew the answer, he knew the answer. He’d been keen to agree to this little foray, he hadn’t expected a gentle romp in the flower fields. Meeting her gaze, Vic shook his head; no, she was not mistaken.
Lae’zel turned his head to the side and placed her free hand on the ground beside his shoulder, leaning down further over him. “I will use you then, istik, until I am sated.”
