The first time Minghao confesses is in their hotel room in China, kilometers away from Korea, during CYZJ. Junhui laughs loudly, running a hand through his hair before he rejects Minghao with an awkwardness that makes Minghao want to shrivel up on the spot.
The second time Minghao confesses, Junhui intertwines their fingers and smiles placidly. He gives Minghao's hand a gentle squeeze and that's what causes Minghao's heart to shatter.
The third time Minghao confesses, he cradles his mended heart in his ribcage. Junhui stares at him expectantly. Third time's the charm, Minghao thinks wryly, before Junhui opens his mouth, and—

Summary
Minghao has this thing he does sometimes when the world gets too sharp to touch, which he'll later learn to call meditation. It’s an easy trick to pull off around the members, who speak so quickly that even the words of Korean he knows for sure get lost in a jumble of those he doesn’t, and so can easily be made meaningless.
It’s impossible to do around Wen Junhui in any language.
