Summary
After the intense encounter in the janitor's closet at the charity gala, Charles is left rattled by the sudden shift in his relationship with Max, unsure of where they now stand. Max, ever in control, remains a figure of both authority and mystery, even stepping in to save Charles from an uncomfortable misunderstanding at the party. Despite Charles' growing frustration with Max's cryptic demeanor, the Dutchman offers him a glimpse into his world, where a startling revelation stirs something deep within Charles, and sets in motion a storm of emotions and possibilities, leaving Charles uncertain of what comes next.

“Dude, Spiderman was opposite the building again! He’s been there so much recently, I’m starting to think he lives here or something.”
Oscar choked on a french fry, lightly patting his chest and grabbing his drink to wash it down. “Have you thought about the fact that he probably likes the area?”
“No! He goes there with a hoodie and a backpack, he’s probably on his way home or something! Could you imagine? Spiderman could actually live in the flats opposite us!” Lando exclaimed, turning his head to the window and he could slightly see the same building. The world now becoming suffocated by the increasing darkness, the sunset long gone.
Oscar pinched the bridge of his nose, “I think you’re reading into this way too much, mate.”

Lando is obsessed with the friendly-neighbourhood Spiderman and Oscar is his good best friend that listens.

Oscar shakes his head slowly. He lifts a hand, then starts enumerating: “I remember the podium, debrief, hotel, taxi, club, Max, some horrible dancing, tequila –”
“That’s what I—,” Lando starts to say, relieved and disappointed at the same time, and then there’s a glint of something on Oscar’s hand, and instead he says, “fucking hell, what the fuck.”
Oscar splutters, his eyes darting around the room and across Lando’s body quickly in search of damage. “Wha—?”
“We’re both wearing rings,” and Lando’s head is spinning, but something tells him he’s right. “We’re in Vegas. We’re both wearing rings in Vegas, Oscar.”
