Eddie shifts slightly and clears his throat again. “But can you answer my original question? What’s it like kissing a guy?”
Buck shrugs, trying to sound casual. “Honestly? It’s pretty much the same as kissing a girl. Lips are lips, you know?”
Eddie raises an eyebrow. “Really? It’s just the same?”
“Yeah, I mean, it’s all about the connection,” Buck replies, feeling a bit defensive. “Kissing is kissing, right?”
Eddie crosses his arms, unconvinced. “Come on, Buck. It can’t be that simple. You’re telling me there’s no difference at all?”
Buck leans back, a playful smirk spreading across his face. “Well, if you don’t believe me, I could always prove it to you.”

Summary
If Buck could go back to all those weeks ago and tell himself that this idea would place at the top of the list of his monumentally stupid ideas, he would do it in a heartbeat. He would knock some sense into his own head, or let Maddie do it for him.
But here he is now, and a time machine, unfortunately, hasn’t been invented yet.
Here he is now, with Eddie boring into his eyes after that. After realizing he’s been caught red-handed. Except, the implication Eddie’s just made means he’s been sitting on this. And, holy hell.
Eddie breathes out, his chest puffing out noticeably.
“Not so quick to answer when the tables are turned, are you?”

OR Buck ends up asking Eddie the thirty-six questions to fall in love. And really, what’s the worst that could happen?

Eddie thought for a long moment. Too long, maybe. Then he shrugged, “Honestly, Buck? I have no idea.”
Buck’s brows pinched up. “What do you mean? When have you felt the most loved?”
“Don’t make a big thing of this, Buck. Promise?”
Buck made a show of crossing his heart, brows still raised curiously.
“I’m not sure I’ve ever… really felt loved in a relationship? I’m not convinced that I know what makes me feel loved…”

After finding out that Eddie doesn't know what his love language is, Buck sets about finding out for him. He begins a five week experiment, one for each love language, to figure out which will make Eddie feel the most loved.
