They were outnumbered, out gunned, and surrender was the only way to spare all of them. And so, when Ed gave his regal nod, Izzy had laid down his sword, put his hands up. Glanced up and down the line of his crew, all of them looking to him for direction. He’d given a little nod, meeting each one of their eyes for a moment. And they’d laid down their arms as well.
They’d live. For a while longer. That had to be enough.
But, god. If it were him alone? He’d have fought the entire crew. He’d’ve either had to have been cut down by the crew or stood over the man himself, with his sword aimed at his heart and his knife at the man’s throat.

Summary
Jack heaves a sigh, trying to calm himself. The constant waves of emotions flooding through his bonds with Izzy and James are overwhelming, but he’s managed to stay even keeled for most of the night. Billy had showed up a couple hours ago, looking pissed and holding a deck of cards. The prime could feel the frustration rolling off the younger man, so he opened a bottle of rum, sprawled out on the floor, and dealt them each a hand and a flagon. The two played in relative silence until Jack felt a particularly intense wave of hurt from his omega.

Summary
John Silver wets his lips, eyes darting from shadow to shadow, hoping he’d managed to make it to the captain’s cabin without being seen. He presses himself against the door and takes hold of the handle, praying it’ll be silent as he turns it. He hears the click of the latch and pushes against the firm wood, slipping inside on bare feet as it quietly opens.
Letting out a breath as he shuts the door behind him, John’s sigh turns into a soft moan. He should have known. Of course, the delicious scent that’s been driving him mad is coming from Flint’s cabin. Fuck. What had started as a light fragrance that he'd occasionally smell in the air had become stronger over the last few weeks on the Walrus.

Summary
John’s bare feet slap on the floor, wet from the rain that’s managed to travel below decks during the storm. He wraps the blanket tighter around his shoulders, face red from shame and tears as he hurries down the corridor. Stifling a sob, John slows, stopping in front of Jack and Izzy’s cabin door. The young omega’s grateful that this storm had started during Gates’ shift rather than his primes’. Now, he can only pray that they had retired to their cabin instead of going to drink with the crew in the mess, or worse, decided to help out with the storm. John didn’t much like the idea of trying to find his primes topside in his current state of undress.
Pulling the blanket up over his head as a couple crewmen walk down the corridor behind him, John winces as the fabric brushes his cheek. The skin there is still red and angry and the blanket John had grabbed wasn't the softest, but he had been in a rush. He lets out a sniffle, trying to compose himself as he raises a shaky hand to knock on the door to the primes’ cabin. “I-Izzy?” John calls out, frustrated at how his voice trembles. “Prime? Are you there?”
