"I'm going on a double date with my sister and need to bring my boyfriend."
"So?" Ekko frowns at her, failing to understand how he's part of her master plan.
"So, smartass," she flicks his forehead, hilariously causing his frown to deepen, "I'll need a fake boyfriend. Which would be you."
Ekko looks at her as if she's grown two heads. He opens his mouth. And promptly closes it. Then Jinx sees his throat bob as he swallows. Is his throat dry or something? Must be the warm weather. She'll bring him a water bottle later to prove what a considerate fake girlfriend she could be.
Jinx devises a brilliant plan to break up her sister and her girlfriend. All she needs is a fake boyfriend so she has a valid reason to crash all their dates. Easy peasy! (Un)fortunately for Jinx, things do not go as planned.

Jinx's head whirled back in Ekko's direction and she glared at him. "Oh, so I'm not sexy?"
After contemplating ditching them all and driving home by himself, he decided against it and deadpanned, "I literally didn't say anything."
"Your silence speaks volumes," she scoffed.
Jinx is his best friend and roommate, and he's been in love with her for as long as he can remember. That aside, she's also determined to put Ekko in an early grave.

“Oh.” Phil says, for lack of words, because it’s been a bit of a while since he’s seen kids. Three pairs of wide eyes stare back at Phil, terror given at the bloody display before them, the fangs of his teeth bared, the red splattered over his lips, the still warm body held in his claws.
“Oh, hello.” Phil grins. The smallest one opens his mouth and screams.
(Or, Vampire!Phil is trying to get by in a zombie apocalypse with the great lack of humans. He decides to try raising his own food supply, after finding three kids. It’s definitely not adoption. No, not at all. (Well, maybe just a bit.))

“Who are you to Jinx?” Vi’s voice was desperate, face pinched in distress.
Isha didn’t know. She didn’t have an answer. Jinx was her protector. Her sword and shield. She kept Isha safe and happy. She fed her and clothed her and gave her a whole place to sleep. Isha got toys and to play games. Jinx was safety and security and love.
She didn’t have a sign for it. There was never a need. It was Isha and Jinx and that was enough for them.

Jinx once told Isha that if she ever got into a tight spot, she could go to an address topside and look for the girl with pink hair. Isha had no idea who the pink-haired woman was, but when Jinx was kidnapped, Isha had to reach out for help, hoping the mysterious woman would help get Jinx back.
